Matthew Hicks
After serving for twenty years in the Army, Matthew Hicks and his wife, Dawn, settled in South
Carolina. He attended undergraduate school at Coker University and followed that with law
school at the Joseph F. Rice School of Law at the University of South Carolina. Matthew is passionate about individual rights and justice, so the practice of law is the perfect career for him. He believes that the death penalty is morally wrong in all its forms, especially when administered by the state.
